i fell in love with the music of Sarah Kang - perhaps 2 months ago - very soothing and cool. Now listening to it again for the nth time, on a stay-home rainy day reading a non-fiction book, i finally understood why! It has a sadness but whimsical way about it, easy on the lyrics and easy listening. But most importantly, it is introspective, to the point of a quiet sadness. In a good way. Do you feel the same? Do you agree? Totally my kind of music. (I also love Honne and Coldplay and Pharrel Williams).
I love summer is for falling in love, it’s short but it gives me so much peace, and relaxation, it’s the reason why I found her music in the first place so I have a special attachment to the specific song because it also matches with shows that I watch.

Sarahさんは生まれは韓国ですが生後8ヶ月で牧師であるお父さんの関係でアメリカにわたったそうです。
その後ロス、シカゴ、ダラスで暮らしイエール大学とコロンビア大学で学んだそうです。私もNYC出身だと思ってましたが大学の関係で住んでたんですね。アメリカの紅葉の中で聞くとまた素敵でしょうね。
